Anyone in 2019 listening to this? Heard this on country radio yesterday and had a conniption fit of joy; the all-too-recent good ol days that seem SO far away now. When a song could convey 2 different world outlooks, and it was still a banger, and no one took offense, and we just rocked out to GOOD country. Damn. And RIP Troy Gentry, thanks for your badass tunes. Hell yeah, right on.

I feel your words in my heart and gut every day. :( I just heard a so-called "Country-Rap" song. Just when I think I'm done retching, I hear another "modern" so-called Country tune on the radio and I have to pull my truck over to the ditch so I can puke again. This song is one of my all-time favorites: The perfect blend of Country, Rock, Country-Rock, Blues, and the old-fashioned Top 10 AM Pop-Rock I grew up listening to in the 1960s/1970s. The infectious smoking hot guitar hook riffs in this pot-boiler giving a respectful nod to classic Led Zepplin in their prime have never been matched. (BTW: The lead player in this band is an absolute artist burning up his guitar frets on par with the one & only lead guitar master behind Brooks & Dunn.....who is still playing with them to this day. :)
