@JeanPaulTorres oh, I see! Can you tell me how was BART before Covid? I never rode BART after the pandemic, but I am not sure how different was back then. From what it looks like, it was in a worst condition than what currently looks like.

@@Alejandro-vn2si apologies for the late reply! Prior to covid perhaps the biggest complaint was what to do with crowding that was happening at rush hour. That was in my opinion a good problem to have and why we’re now as a region exploring ways to boost transbay rail capacity through the Link21 project and three door cars with the fleet of the future. The other issue was carpeted floors and seats but those went away over time before covid. Despite all issues BART has always offered relatively frequent regional metro rail service.

@JeanPaulTorres no apologies needed! Thank you so much for taking your time and replying to me. It is interesting that BART was having issues with crowding. Personally, I would love to see one day BART carry at least a million riders and be expanded to other parts of the bay. However, hopefully sooner rather than later we could BART recovering their ridership. Either way, thanks for sharing history about BART. Also, until what year were the carpeted floors took out. I cannot see myself BART having carpet floors in contemporary times. I know BART had them in the past, but not in the 2010's or 2000s.
