The elevators looked so nice before the mod, now they have those basic VR fixtures which no one likes, burnt out indicators, and even one’s doors started shaking violently and it made weird squeaky sounds while leveling. But after all, Rivercenter Mall isn’t the nicest mall I have ever been to. At one point I just rode the H&M elevator down to Ground level (This was before I noticed the other one which was outside the store) and made my way outside to rent an electric scooter to get back to my hotel room and between the store entrance and exit where I left and the door to the outside there was a homeless man who decided to set up camp in the mall (It was 10 at night) and when I walked passed, I guess he had some sort of speaker as he started blasting; “Mambo No. 5” full blast. I just walked faster, weirded out about what happened. I did return the next day to film the 2 EcoDiscs elevators but I made sure to keep alert. Probably one of the creepiest experiences I have ever had at a mall.

When did these elevators got modded? I know Lord & Taylor has the only Vector remaining in this mall.

These were modded in late 2015. There is no Lord & Taylor, it's Macy's is what you're referring to.

@@JimLiElevators I know this is an old post, but jonc3806 was correct in that it was _originally_ a Lord & Taylor when Rivercenter opened in 1988; L&T only lasted until 1989, though. I think it became Foley's after that, finally Macy's (which closed in 2021 I believe).
