This is my month-two video update, recorded with native-speaker 신, so you get an idea of how I sound at this 2/3 point in my project. In a month, I'll already be in Seoul, ready to use what I've learned.
I edited the class recording to be just some key parts where I'm replying to his questions so you can get an idea of what my spontaneous Korean sounds like. The rest of the time he was either teaching me, or I was going through an exercise with him that wouldn't have been a good demonstration of my spontaneous skills. Or I was just stopped dead awkwardly thinking of what to say 😆. Hopefully this snapshot gives you an idea of where I am right now!

If you want to book a session with 신 yourself, first, sign up to italki using my link for $10 free credit at fi3m.com/italki and then go to his teacher account www.italki.com/en/teacher/619.... He's great! Very engaging as a teacher, with lots of great references and he's interesting himself too.

If you'd like to learn alongside me, you can aim to have your first 15 minute conversation by the end of your 3 months (with way less of a time-commitment than I'm making for this monster project of mine!) Just go to www.fluentin3months.com/bc for more info on our "Bootcamp" coaching and community programme! Part of the programme includes the community all uploading update videos like this one so we can cheer one another one in how we're progressing, as well as have milestones to see our true progress over time. You can bet I'll be looking back at this video at the end of the 3 months to compare my progress now with then!
