Stainless steel is a great choice! It doesn't rust. The learning curve for me was learning to pre-heat it properly before frying anything so it doesn't stick to the pan. It's hot enough if you put a drop of water on it, it splits, dances around the pan little water balls... Kind of like mercury, the heavy metal. 😊

You finally saw the news about Teflon. Actually they been talking about it and there was even a huge article about Dupont the company that created it about it that came out right before the Pandemic. Forever Chemicals are all over our waterways. We always used stainless steel and Iron casted pans (That why a I watch Kiki Flying delivery service so many times as a kid) and my mom is weary of new stuff like that. Anyway, you can stove cleaner if you accidental over cook/ burn the under side and use those green and yellow sponges or wool so you don't damage them. If you get a iron pan I get a mix bag and how to take care of them but it's best to bake them when new because they have some type of coating to prevent them from rusting.

As much as I love your videos, I just wanted to say as a designer that the Aesthetic doesn't match the name, the "Blue Bamboo", is an awesome name for the rental. but blue bamboo with an led light sign indicates or suggests that the overall theme is either club-like or a dark and moody look. So I would make the walls dark and make the white parts black or a dark contrast to the shade of blue. or make the darker trim areas blue to tie things together, paint the bamboo plants in their blue and put led lights behind them to make things pop. The design you have is fine, its just that there's too many brown and white tones In comparison to blue or blue accent tones in there to suggest "Blue Bamboo" so it looks like the name doesn't match the aesthetic. However, I also don't know the regulations for your rental as japan sometimes prohibits people from using color or certain colors depending on the area/ district. but keeping doing you love the videos.

All my pots are stainless steel. They don’t rust at all……. But there is a way to make it so food doesn’t stick to it. I learned from a chef, heat the pot with enough oil to lightly coat the bottom. Heat on super high heat. You know it’s ready when you drop a bit of water and it stays as droplets and doesn’t quickly evaporate (google leidenfrost effect on pot for a visual of what I mean) …. After the leidenfrost effect, turn the heat down to medium once it cools down and it’s steaming you can cook an egg on it
