Freddie doesn't just hit the notes beautifully, he infuses the lyrics with powerful emotion. No matter who wrote the song, Freddie had a way of making each one sound authentic to him. This is one of my favorite performances. I love these reactions to the commentary, HAP!!

This song hits deep, I get so emotional every time I listen to Freddie's voice saying, "I clothed myself in your glory & your love, how I loved you, how I cried". Damn, it really reaches deep. Thanks to the gods, I'm wearing waterproof mascara, or else...😪😪 Although Brian wrote these absolutely beautiful lyrics, it's Freddie who gives it texture, emotion, feeling, warmth, belonging. No one can make those words his own as Freddie does. And loved, loved to hear Roger and Brian praising John for the absolutely outstanding musician that he was. Well-deserved praising, John is a legend in his merit. Thanks again Hap for these reactions with commentary, and you couldn't've put it in better words when you say, "I am reminded that true talent exists!". So true, so true. You rock Hap, you rock!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Beautiful emotionally charged song and Freddie's performance was superb. One of my favourites. Nice to hear the guys appreciating Freddie's singing, and John's bass playing. Great to learn that you have been enjoying the Queen catalogue, Hap!

This song gets me every single time. Everything about it is genius, Freddie is spot on with his vocals and that vibrato, the switching up of people playing instruments, the softness and then the loudness of it in contrast. I love this song! ❤️

Freddie's voice, even on a bad day is spectacular, this is my favorite version.. Freddie always brings a smile and good thoughts to me. You know, I'm just absolutely in love with his voice, always have been, so addicting, a good addiction to have. Great reaction 🙂

I was lucky enough to see this band twice in Los Angeles back in the mid 1970's. Watching Freddie on the piano sing " You take my breath away " , I was 16 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday-

I've heard/watched many live versions of "Save me" but this one is by far my favorite, pure perfection! You said, I think, at "The Great Pretender" reaction, that noone comes close to Freddie Mercury - So, true, Hap, so true! And I don't know what is it about this song, but I can listen to "Save me" from Montreal, repeatedly and have the same emotional reaction every time!

There are no words to describe Freddie. Please please react to Love of My Life live at Wembley 1986 7/12-Saturday. You will say you have never seen anything like it. I’m still hoping you will do the entire Saturday 7/12 Wembley concert maybe break it up in 4 parts so you can see how they flow from one song to another. It’s just a fabulous concert.

When are you going to react to the original "In the Lap of the Gods"? It is definitely worth a listen just to hear Roger's screams. It is quite a bit different from the later "In The Lap of The Gods, Revisited". Listen to the live version from the Rainbow - kzitem.info/news/bejne/2YSj2J5rp4Z-gpg .
