Remember, when the ego wants to draw you into its clutches, this too shall pass. You remain the awareness of the thought, and just watch it. Let the dissipation of conditioned thinking fade away into nothingness. Its going to be ok. Trust.

Beautiful explanation of the out breath. I held my lovely mummy's hand as she took her last breath and watched the peace on her face as she flew to freedom. She had spent much of her life trapped within her "in breath". She knows the truth now. I can feel it in my heart. Thank you so much x

at 2:46, Mooji said: "..mind itself is resolved in the Isness so the sense of mind takes authority.." It's a dualistic view between a mind vs. Isness, I think that any notions of a mind is also the expression of the Isness, and the Isness takes the authority over everything even over a psychological ego....

The second part of your quote is the beginning of his next comment. "The sense 'mind takes authority'... means less and less for you." I see the dualistic view you refer to. As long as we believe that mind has a separate existence we act as if there's conflict to resolve. The mind is resolved in the 'Isness.' Then its manifest form can be reprogrammed. Then it will function in accord with the love, and serenity of the Isness. Does that make sense? Duality dissolves in 'Isness' But as long as we have a body-mind there will continue to be a sense of duality which has less and less authority, no real authority in fact..

Ales Dostal Mooji comes from the Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism, which emphasizes the non-dual. So yes you are right, but what you say is implied by Mooji, 'I am Brahman, all is Brahman.'

Knowsoul, If a believe of a separate existence, a sense of duality or an apparently imperfect mind were also created by the Isnes/Pure Awareness (not by me, Ales) then one would have to admit the existence of an illusion as an aspect of the Isness and consequently the one could take an attitude that the one does not have to do anything and everything is in order, because what man can do against the Isness/pure awareness that is creating the illusion of en ego as well. I hope the Isness may lift up the curtain of illusion soon and liberate Mooji.

Ales Dostal, take a step into nature, and then pause, after each step, and mentally acknowledge your sense of presence. Then, between steps, your mind is a supporting reflection of your isness. But, heart, emotion, feeling and love are not the same as thought, and are the strong support of your isness. We need all kinds of support, especially as we age. Reflection and reasoning can be supports, on special occasion, when things go a certain way. But, remember how brief my timing in my picture is, with a pause between each step.

Can these practices help someone with depression?
@paulg.2141

Who is the "someone" with depression? The thought of "you". It is not you. The help you seek, is you. Watch the thoughts associated with "your" depression. Then relate them to actuality. What is happening right now? At this moment? You are identifying with thoughts that say, "this is you, a depressed hopeless person. That's odd says the deeper self, for I AM is not a person. So, in reality "you" don't have depression, the thought of you is identified with the thought of it. It took years to make you depressed, it takes no-time to realize freedom. You are not your thoughts. Without relying on memory, about your name, your history......ask yourself this: Who Am I. And then just be still. Who you are is stillness, space, the-quiet. You are not your history. You are not your future. You are the isness, the Now. Please investigate this. It is the only way. You experience yourself, you don't know yourself. Peace to you Jeffrey, the Universe is on your side, you are the Universe.
