@@MarkForrestAdventures I launched at Whitfield mid November twice, no dock. Lake Ontario is really low. Where do you launch for Georgian bay? I have to check that area, for someone like me who like to " see what is down there" it looks great.

Yes when you get this late into fall the waters are down a lot so have to be super careful out there. Depending on what side of Georgian bay. I have a place on the west side and east side midland or parry sound.

did you know it, your a poet? don't apologize its good to see people with humor. the things you'll do for us, amazing location. next spring I hope to see you run those falls on the ski, like Toronto PWC. will you winterize the ski yourself? what are you planning for big episode number 50?

Lol ya after I was like that was funny! Hey it’s also for me love to get out there and find new places and so happy to take you guys along with me. Oh hoping for some cool runs this spring! No I take to my dealer that way if anything goes wrong on them. For 50 is just a review of the Garmin bit underwhelming for 50 but just how the videos came out.

Great video as always what kind of drone do you use?
@MarkForrestAdventures
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Joe! I am using the DJI Mavic Mini as it is super small and fits nice in the sea doo and under the 250 gram limit so no license is needed. I have a video about the gear I use coming out in a few weeks and I talk about the drone there in better detail so hope you will check that out. Cheers!

Great video! Damn its beautiful in that area with all the tree colours. What do you wear on your feet to keep them warm and dry?
@MarkForrestAdventures
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Craig! Yes it is crazy how nice it looks up there in the fall. I have these shoes that have that quick draining and dry features so I can step in water and it all comes out so it dries faster. Then when not wet lol they are good at keeping the feet warm. I also take a clothe with me if I really need to dry the feet fast.

How far of a ride is this falls for you? That's a killer swim spot. get a nice little kayak or inflatable and just ride down it. Next season!!

It’s about a 20 min ride to get there from the launch. Oh ya in the summer I hear that place is packed with people doing that.

Beautiful spot and nice drone footage. I saw your comments on what you wear on your feet to keep them warm, but how about pants? Looks like your just doubling up on jacket/sweatshirt for upper. You do anything to prepare in the event you would fall in to stay warm and not have to much weight to lift yourself back on? I live in Texas, so if you can stay “warm” at 4 degrees C, then I should be able to ride year round, just trying to figure out the right way to stay warm.

Thank you so much! I just have my board shorts then a pair of like merino wool pants then my North Face pants and they are all very light but keep the wind and water out. As for tops just a t-shirt and a hoodie and then my Oakley Jacket with the life jacket over that. When its that could out I take my first aid kit that has like a thermal blanket and I put in the foot and hand warmers just in case as well. Then I have spare clothes ready back in the truck. Nice I am sure there is some great riding down there!! Lets jut say only if its sunny out and not long trips and only once and a while other wise needs to be a bit warmer than that LOL Thanks for checking out the video and for reaching out all the best Cheers!

@MarkForrestAdventures

No it’s great thanks for sending them! I have some atv videos coming up and going to try to get a few snow mobile ones as well just working on the details of that. And yes might do some ice fishing so will be videos coming out in the off season so stay tuned for them.

How frequently do you use the depthfinder? Would you say it’s an essential piece of equipment for your ski even if you don’t fish?
@MarkForrestAdventures
3 жыл бұрын
I use the depth finder all the time. I have it set so no matter what screen I am looking at I will always have the depth there to see. I would say it is especially if you are riding in dark water and can't see bottom so important to have. I have a video coming out this week about the Garmin so hope you will check it out should help explain things a bit better about it.
