Thanks. Nice to see even 1 year old set can still stand against the newer sets. The Waifu fans may be "seeing" you at CanJam. Don't let anyone know it's you!

It might be super strong in technicalities, but not a good IEM for rock and metal.
@Jaytiss

I agree, it is too sparklie. But a solid iem overall.

Hey Jay how would you compare the technicalities of the blessing 3 to the mega5est? The blessing 2 was my first ever iem and yeah as you mentioned i was blown away to a point where I actively got invested in the hobby, currently alternating between the mest mk2 and scarlet minis. Appreciate the review ❤.

to me the Mega 5est is a solid technicalities choice of an iem. It just sound really right. I think Mega5est (8.6) > (8.5) Blessing 3. Scarlett mini's are fun. :)

Good review of the Blessing 3! I noticed several of Moondrops iem's have a bright lean to them. Is the treble on the Aria Snow edition considered bright/ harsh?
@Jaytiss

I haven't heard that one. It's hard for me to say from memory, but the graphs would lead us to that conclusion!

Great video. Can you set a fixed focus for close up shots? Hard to see when you show side by sides and talk about internal view.

I'll try to fix that for the next video. I apologize and will work to improve.

Can you get subtronic storm graph to poweramp EQ? ❤someone used dusk v2 on blessing 3 said it was perfect for him the analog Sound

Yeah, send me one I'd be happy to review it and graph it. The issue is if people have iems that expensive typically they don't just mail it around. If at CanJam I'll ask if I can borrow stuff and maybe measure it there. Storm is a rare bird. I'm kinda not in the market for a personal expensive set at the moment.

I have BS3 and love them. Sometimes, I want a tiny bit more bass. I was considering variations, but it sounds like it wpildnt be much of a difference?
@Jaytiss
Ай бұрын
I think it’s kinda minor. Variations is weird set and has a few different tunings depending on what you got. I do find variations more balanced but at that price I think there are other options.

I found the Blessing 3 to be way too lean. That typical scoop with the low mids makes bass guitar almost non-existent. For genres without actual musical instruments, these may be fine. But for genres like rock, these suck something awful. The 2 dynamic drivers are facing each other, instead of a stacked or true isobaric setup. This is why the bass and low mids are so bad...the 2 dynamic drivers are canceling each other out.
@Jaytiss

Yeah for sure. It’s a treble head set. What’s your iem of choice for rock?

@@Jaytiss I mainly use my Dunu Davinci or Hisenior Mega 5 EST. My budget choice is the Artti R1 or the Tangzu x HBB Xuan NV. Almost forgot, but the Tanchjim Oxygen has been my go-to for Classic Rock and metal for many years now.
