Thank you! This is the video I needed after spending HOURS reading reviews and looking at videos for IEMs in the $100 - $200 range. So grateful. Going to be the Kato now!

Love how you described everything, I could easily imagine what you were describing. Very engaging to listen to.

Thank you. I had been considering the A4000 because I was curious about the wide soundstage, but did not realize the necessity of good imaging and separation to complement that.

Nice video, you described the iems in detail yet not so bullshitty like most "audiophiles"; really enjoyed the overview 👍

These are coherent, open, natural, fluid and musical sounding. It could be the end game for many people.

In your personal preference, which one you will use as a daily driver? Thinking of getting A4000 but after watching your video, I’m interested in Kato now! Thank you

I got tired of my Etymotics and have this set coming but I keep second guessing myself and thinking if I had saved up $140 more, I could have the Blessing 2 Dusk.

1.I own quite a few iems around this price range and kept feeling like I should have saved all my money, giving me the ability to buy an iem around 500 dollars. Though, I recently realized it doesn't matter if the iem's sound is worth its price tag, but what really matters is how much am I willing to spend on an iem, regardless of how good it sounds. I realized I don't want to walk around in public with really expensive gear that I'm too afraid to break. Of course, your circumstance may be different. Anyways, I eventually decided that for my own views in combination with the amount of money im currently making, it really doesn't make sense to spend more than 180 ish dollars. 2.Additionally, If this helps at all, I owned a 1000 dollar iem at one point, it sounded great (campfire audio andromeda 2020), but I quickly realized that the sound quality you're getting for that price tag is stupid because it only sounded a little better than these 100 dollar iems coming out. reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, which happens to be from tv series doctor who "you got so caught up in thinking if you COULD do it, you didn't stop to think if you SHOULD". qoute doesn't go exactly like that, and was of course in response to something drastically different, but gets the point across. I personally got so caught up in caring about sound quality I didnt stop to think if i value earbuds so much to the point of spending that much money.

The Katos are probably going to be more comfortable. I originally bought the Dusks but I had to return them because they were just too big, mainly in the nozzles. I ended up getting the Arias and I'm very pleased with them. The Katos will probably sound a lot warmer than the B2Ds as I understand they're more similar to the Aria. The B2D had some brightness to them as well as some BA tambre that took away some naturalness. That said, I would have kept the B2D if they had fit well. The detail and imaging were pretty spectacular. And while they could sound a tad thin depending on the song, many songs really stood out in quality, detail and smoothness. So it depends on whether you'd like a somewhat more neutral tonality and if they will fit you. I've got my eye on the Kato if I decide to upgrade as I'm really digging the warmth and fit of the Aria, but improved imaging staging and quality would be welcome.

@@supernaut7946 I ordered the Dusk before my Kato arrived. Kato sounded great but the nozzle seemed too short. Kato scratches VERY easily. The slightest jaw movement would break the seal and it seemed I was always trying to push them in farther. When the Dusk arrived, the fit was perfect with the medium spring tip from the Kato. I also got a Nicechk 2.5mm pure silver cable and a Hidizs S9 DAC . My problem now is low quality sources. I use the Dusk for PC gaming, listening to youtube or MP3s . The tiny self-adhesive screens that go on the tip of the nozzle tear very easily; I have almost run out of them.

I bought these for my girlfriend, she uses my old XBA-Z5 right now. It's an unfair comparison because the XBA-Z5 is much more expensive, but it's just so much better... I tested them too and we sent them back. Yes, again, unfair comparison because it sells for roughly 300$ more, , but if you spend 300$ more, your actually get 300$ more worth of sound There is still a lot if headroom above the KATO, it's far from endgame.
