Your arrangements are original. I play this also. We seem to have the same taste. I like tunes that other people don't play. Every time I get together with players they always play the same thing Autumn leaves. So I call out Joy Spring! You should see the terror in their eyes. I like what you do to Moonlight Serenade. I listen to a lot of Ella Fitzgerald ( Elephants Gerald) LOL. She gives me the ideas I want for phrasing. I listen to guitarists like Pass but I can't copy so I do what I feel.

My favorite styles are jazz and fusion. Listening to country, classical, Indian music, and rock can teach you different things about technique. I solo and comp well, but I really want to learn more about the whole chord-melody world of Joe Pass, George Van Eps, Lenny Breau, and Ted Greene. Really good chord melody players seem to have the broadest command of the guitar.

@MrRandomman123 Teenage maybe. I'm a hardcore rock fan, but this song is one of my favourites. Infact I'm trying to learn jazz, best way to improve guitar skills.

@futuredyrdek Yeah, your probably right. Where I live though, rock is the only good music. It's very sad.

Absolutely incredible, you play it so well, and with so much feel for the tune.. that being said, i think you should invest in a new microphone, it doesnt live up to your sheer awesomeness! Best regards here from the faroe islands.

That's why it's called jazz because the artist gets to interpret in his own way...

Again, it doesn't matter what the original key was. The create musician has license to re-interpret it....

Everybody is free to adapt it to the most convenient for a particular instrument . The fact remains that Glenn Miller scored the tune for a big band. Hence the original is in Eb.
