I'll never tire of anything you present to us. Cooking, horses, farming routines, kids events and even building a table cause that's life!!! The eclipse was uneventful. We had clouds all day so at about 2:15 pm it looked quite dark like when a storms movin' in. It was about the time it was happening in Indiana. We here in Central MN were in a partial eclipse from what I hear so that is why the sky got so dim ? Minnesota they tell me will have to wait till 2099 to see a total eclipse. Our last one was in 1979! Hey y'all take care and God bless!!!

Meredith it was Gary Hahn the voice of NC State basketball for the last 34 years, he retired after states last game this past weekend. Before Gary Hahn took over announcing, it was Clyde Dillon on the mic for 50 years, great announcers! Also, Garry Dornburg announced Wolfpack games for Raleigh's WPTF for 20 years, he was very popular with many State fans for his enthusiasm and smooth delivery on the mic, he was one of the best!

Maybe do a video of you and the kids cleaning up and organizing the shop? Maybe convince Lawrence to sell off some of the equipment and scrap to clean up the place like the other 2 stock trailers and trucks not being used and mixer mills?
@drddianesbryant

That’s not what mountain farmers born into farming do. If the shop were cleaned up and organized, the farmer wouldn’t know where to find that important piece off some old junk equipment that he will use to fix his best broken equipment he needs to use. Such is the life of farmers like Lawrence, as well as my father and grandfather. What they lack(ed) in monetary wealth, they make/made up for with hard work in the fields growing food for the winter.

MERIDERH, did you know that if you dug a small hole beside your snowball bush and pull over a limb and covered it up it will root. Make sure it weighted down so it will stay in place. After it has time to root cut the limb free from the bush and you will have a new bush.

Why in the world would you build an indoor table out of treated lumber? If its for Wes to do leather crafts on there are a lot better woods to use than treated. Its wet, heavy and will shrink , twist and split and Wes will be exsposed to the chemicals used to treat it thru skin contact. There are so many better choices of wood to use.
