Schlöndorff framet sehr stark. Dennoch interessant.

i wonder how many Stones recording sessions this gentleman watched to say Brian was always creating conflict when they were recording.

Probably just the related stones sessions that happened directly before or after a few of the 6 or so soundtrack sessions. He didn't see Brian again after Cannes in May 1967. The interview is interesting, but I notice that his memories about Brian have gotten more and more negative through the years with each telling. It's like his memories are stuck in a negative slide that just keeps getting worse and more exaggerated.

@@TheBrianJonesResource It seems from other accounts that Brian did seem to enjoy f-ing with people from time to time with power plays, and I wouldn't be surprised if that extended to his dealings with Schlondorff. Also very interesting to hear how the SS uniform photos originated. Pretty f-ed up to use Schlondorff's name without permission at a costume rental company to get a Nazi uniform and have publicity photos taken in it. I wouldn't be surprised if he told all involved to send the bill to Mr. Schlondorff.

So basically Keith directed and produced this or Brian may have not got it done.

That sounds really strange as Jimmy Page was in this project as a guitar player. Why tuning to Keith if you have Page who was a producer as well as a session musician? In his interview to Rolling Stone about this collaboration with Brian, I don"t remember Page mentioning Keith, nor in the books I've read about Brian. It seems to me that Brian wanted to do his own thing, something that had nothinh to do with the Stones.
