Do not let them operate on your daughter. Find a good physical therapist -- not from the doctor. Do not let them medicate her.

My mother was told I had hip dysplasia when I was younger. My mother was told I would grow out of it. They didn't believe anything needed to be done. I was an extremely active child participating in dance, gymnastics, and martial arts. While I did have some bouts of pain while I was younger, it really didn't hit me until I got older (late teens and early 20s). I want to give you some advice I wish was given to me; more movement will help in the long run but I would predominantly focus on walking. If Amahle enjoys gymnastics, I would make sure she has excellent technique and a thorough warm-up routine when stretching (starting from the feet up). As she gets older I would work with a PT and begin incorporating some things like Pilates or calisthenics. You want to ensure she has strong quads, core, glutes, and feet.

Akeeba, was she checked for flat feet (arches)? Did he mention insole, inserts, shoes may be a problem. Good arch support can help with hip pain. I saw her walking in video, her hip alignment is off. Custom orthotics insoles hip alignment issues, misalignment of the pelvic & hips are common. Do your research! ❤love❤

Hi I know it’s not the same situation but I underwent a scoliosis fusion at the age of 11. I had a lot of back and hip pain and my curve was curving into my lungs and heart so surgery was unavoidable. I was terrified and felt so lonely at the time. I am now 30 and have grown with my surgery. I have good and bad days but I think having someone to talk to would have made a world of a difference in my recovery process. Regardless of your daughter’s outcome I think it’d be so helpful for her to talk to other young girls facing the same difficulties. There’s so much healing in community. Sending loves and prayers over your daughter ❤

When my kids where in elementary and middle school, I gave them Nordic naturals artic d cod liver oil. It comes in flavors. Orange, lemon or strawberry. They did not love it but it kept them healthy. Also pair 100 mcg of vitamin K with every 1000 iu of Vitamin D. I so appreciate you sharing your journey

Hey. I take Now brand vitamin D. Dr. Berg also recommends D3 with K2 and he has a product that has both. I would definitely recommend consulting with a nervous system based chiropractor to get a different perspective. A really good one can give you some good insight if y'all have never seen one before. Healing and blessings to your beautiful family. ❤❤❤❤

Vitamin D3 is best to be taken with K2 and best absorbed in large doses. For example, a large dose once a week instead of daily.

I know this video is 3 months old... Some things you might want to try are if you've been driving for a lot of hours or if your child has been sitting for a long time have her get up and walk around to loosa things up. Also if she's sitting on something hard like a seatbelt wooden chairs plastic chairs that might be something that affects her too. Especially because her lip seems to come and go... Maybe keep a little notebook with the history of her limp and note things such as what was she doing, the time of day, what was she sitting or laying on, etc.

I walk with a slight limp because of something called an arteriovenous malformation that presses on my knee. I don't know if that's helpful. It's rare so how would you know. The hip comes out of alignment of the stress of something pressing on the knee. The number one avm cener is in New York.

Is Vitamin D like Vitamin C where you need to take something else to help absorb it? I have a lot of research to do because they certainly didn't say very much. Hot ice or cold ice, Motrin and Tylenol at the same time or...so many unanswered questions. Luckily we didn't have to walk far to see the eclipse and they had a wonderful time in Cleveland! Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin and it works best to take with food to have the best absorption. Additionally, it should be paired with vitamin K2.

This is almost similar to what happened to my daughter last year. After many tests and many leg pain complaints we found that her Vitamin D was low. It took me a while to find her a supplement that was "OK." I chose to go with the one Guru Nada sells. It got the job done, after being on it for less than 2 wks the leg pain was gone. It's been months and she's still good.
