nice combination, for writing I tend to prefer pencil because it avoids issues of ink drying out . The uni kuru toga is cheap and has some complex mechanics that rotates the lead continuously to stay sharp. of course not for check writing, more for quick notes

I feel bad for people who have so much cash piled up that they need to spend $100 on a pen or $500 on a knife or $10,000 on a watch. I guess the alternative would be to set the money on fire. It must be awful. Thankfully, I don't have that problem.

My watch is an Apple Watch for the health benefits. My older brother refused to wear a digital watch. Do people know what’s -half past or a quarter to/till? I have paid at the time, for me, a goodly amount for a “used fountain pen”. My favorite is a Parker ‘51. Made in 1941, beautiful smooth nib. A joy to write with. But for an everyday carry likely a Bic, JetStream, Bullet pencil. The prices on some of those box cutters is crazy. Yes you can get more expensive blades but for the most part it’s the same darn blade, will wear out the same. Many ballpoint type pens use the same refills so yes it is fashion.

I cut of the flat head and phillips screwdrivers on the slidewinder and it's sooo comfortable to hold now! I didn't care much for the extra tools, and I also took out the clip, that made it really compact, best utility knife for the 5th pocket!
