Hello railfans a couple of days ago, I went to Auburn for some more dusk
trains. While I was getting there I was on the Chehalis Sheet for Steel Highway, and I saw there was Amtrak 174. The first Phase VII that Amtrak made. And another Phase VII was 2nd locomotive on the train. So I decided to chew more clock out of the train since it was last reported at DuPont, by going to Wendy’s. And by the time we were out of Wendy’s the train was arriving at Tacoma. When I got there I had a good 25 minutes to spare since that train was going slow thru Puyallup and Sumner. And the 26.4x detector milepost going off with 30-40 axles. The trains lights crested over the hill in Auburn South showed the trains was approaching and mere minutes the crossings activated. And the train passes through. After the train passes with
not even close 5 minutes lights appear in the distance and another train was approaching with a GP50 sitting in the siding waiting for that train. After that train passed the train went out of the siding with a GP50 leading and 1 car.
I also got to meet up with a fellow railfan. @lashawnlovestrains Go check out his channel and subscribe to him.
Hope you enjoy this video and I’ll see you next time on the spike.
