They are the same in meaning, but different in the level of formality.When you're in a formal situation or speaking with someone you should show respect to, "じゃありません" is more suitable. In casual or informal settings, "じゃない" is commonly used.

learn first the alphabet/characters then basic vocabulary and apply those vocabulary using the grammar pattern.

@@julieg4933 makes sense and in every language learning system build like that, for some reason I couldn’t find from this KZitem account and actually many KZitemrs I can’t find where they start teaching alphabet/characters, they all start with vocabulary lessons,and I was confused,that’s why I asked.
