Hats off to Ren for another thought provoking track. Thanks for doing such a speedy reaction to it too Sam! You still made me laugh! 😂 Did you mean that the video was understated..? Sometimes less is more. I love the black and white vibe. The verse about his sister was really heartwarming. Cheers Sam 😊 ps didn’t spot you in the chat but it was going crazy fast!

Ahaha ... not reaching at all. Violet's Tale is also Violence Tale and Money Ties Monetize. No people, no prophet - also no people, no profit. That's Ren's doubles in full effect. Love that track. Nayz, who also got screwed over by Kujo, co-produced it (Ren gives himself no credit !!). He's getting the 50:50 publishing split deal he offered Kujo but got turned down - and that's incredibly generous.

I thought as much! How many more are out there that have had the Kujo treatment😅 I’m sure he’s learning to be better now, so good for him. I read Rens message about the situation, good on him, it can all be so simple if you’re all on the same page. Cheers for watching👍🏼

3:56 - if you haven't seen or hear Ren rapping, then you need to look further! There are quite a few on his channel from a few years back where he raps like you wouldn't believe - Try out "Losing it (FISHER Rap Version)", "Illest Of Our Time", "The Hunger", "Halftime ( Nas Retake ), "Loco (Official Lyric Video)", "Murderer", "What You Want", "All My Life (FooFighters Rap)" - These should blow your mind to start off with!

"Did you hear? I actually gasped" - I donno what is it about you, but what you say with your face being so straight, I just gotta laugh everytime. :'D When I heard this song, with him spitting facts in his usual poetic ways, I was like, this is an instant classic, up there with his greatest songs. So simple yet so profound. I loved it from the first listen. It has been a while since I felt that about his latest releases, there is nothing wrong in that, everyone finds their fave songs with Ren, and I don't hate the others, but this just clicked with me. I don't consider Ren a rapper either. Even though he has good flow and can talk fast and has bars, I consider his "rap" more of a conscious teaching, this is why I prefer the bard-ness everyone is talking about more. I am not religious so I am deliberately not saying he is preaching. Btw just bcs you went so personal, let me tell you, I have a brother (3,5 years older than me) and we used to be like two peas in a pod (not bcs we were similar, on the contrary, we were SOOOOO different personalities), we did everything together, I could finish his sentences, basically knew what he was thinking most of the time. If you asked me at the beginning of my twenties who is the most important person in my life, I would say it was my brother. Not my mom or my dad, my brother. No question. And then he got kicked out of university and (I guess bcs of feeling like a failure) he totally shut out everyone from his past, including us. My mother got cancer and died in 3 years and I tried for a couple of years afterwards to keep contact with him but everytime I felt like we had nothing to talk about, he wasn't interested in my life, after a while he said things that made me feel like he thinks I was lucky in life and he wasn't and this is why I have a better life and more opportunities than he has (even though I have struggled my way through university as well and worked soul sucking jobs to be able to afford a down payment on an apartment, plus have a ton of physical ailments). Ten years went by and I barely know anything about him, the info I hear is from my father, who at his old age somehow realized he wants to keep the family together and is now emotionally blackmailing me everytime I visit to call my brother. But why should I? I tried for many years, no luck. He never called. Never wished me a happy birthday. Never tried to talk to me, didn't even keep eye contact with me when we met. Why should I keep trying to uphold a relationship that only I invest in? So yeah...I got it a lot of times as well that family is important and that is all we have. But I have friends who are more like family to me than my own bloodline. I would have never guessed my brother and I would be like this...but alas. Hearing the part where Ren talks about his sister so nicely, made me a bit jealous of people who still have a strong relationship with their siblings. I am sure you would have been a good brother.

There will always be those that are greedy and those that aren’t, but those of us who can be content with less are always exploited by the greedy and power hungry. Was understated the word you were looking for? Look after yourself ❤️

That last part was pretty funny, mainly because I've watched those chats, commented for algorithm purposes, but it's moving sooo fast. Hell, Ren's comments are clearly marked, but they sail through the screen in a blur.

If you didn't see Ren as a rapper, I'm guessing it's still early in your Ren journey? :) Ren's a lot more than just a rapper, of course but he's definitely a rapper! A world-class rapper at that! Ren raps like a rap god! Well, tbh, Ren brings it, whatever the genre. Rap is just another thing to add to the seemingly endless list, of thing's that Ren's incredible at! Genuinely though, Ren's a great rapper! You don't know how lucky you are, to still have so much Ren to yet experience, for the first time! :)

Your bus fare changes?? How does that work? I'm in a city in Canada and if you get on the bus it's $3 whether you're going a block or the whole route. You pay more or less depending on the distance? And how does the bus know where you get on and off? Do you get charged at the end when you're getting off? I'm so confused.
@Sam_TB
3 күн бұрын
So when you get on the bus I can get a single fare and say where I want to go, the closer I am to that destination, the cheaper it becomes. This was the case all them years ago. It could have changed now😂
