Ahhh Mathew, love the channel. I have 97 98 and 16 Musar lined up for a little vertical when I visit my dad in a couple of weeks. Lebanese wines can be great and have their distinctive style. Very fun.

Awesome video as always! I have not tried any Lebanese wines at this point, but will be ordering a few bottles in the tasting! Q: Have you ever done a step-by-step video of your wine scoring process/what you write as you taste? I know wine scoring can vary person by person, but I want to get better at tasting and think that would be very interesting! Thanks for another awesome video!

Interesting video, Lebanese wines seem to combine Rhone with Bordeaux and come up with something very unique. I haven't tried any yet, but will try to at the next wine exhibition here. What do you think about Lebanese whites, have you tried any?

Been tasting Musar since the early 90's the older vintages suffered from regular sub-standard corks. If you buy an older vintage then be careful! Musar was known to have a different assemblage each vintage. Is this still a thing?

Different percentages of the main grapes for sure every year. Cabernet, Cinsault, and Carignan.

Firstly, I think Lebanon produces good wines. Château Musar is iinho a bit overrated. What I missed in your tastings is Château Kefraya!! 👉 really good staff at a reasonable price!

I have that 2015 chateau musar waiting to try. Unfortunately after this video it sounds like the one I'd least enjoy 😀

1. The wine showed well in the video 2. Musar red tastes grear with more bottle age 3. Wines taste different in a critical, blind tasting environment vs opening and enjoying at the dinner table w friends/family

Very interesting video! Curious to try the Carignan. The only varietal carignan that I’ve ever had which was considerably better than “this is enjoyable” was Esu Carbonia, ‘Nero Miniera’ Carignano del Sulcis. That was a complete, interesting, and delicious, wine

Some producers in Priorat make oustanding wines from mostly or only Carignan. Also the neigbourg Montsant .The have some very old Carignan wines.
