Great video. I remembering reading Dante’s inferno in college. It is an intriguing read.

Glad you enjoyed the video! If you are so inclined, check out the Purgatorio and Paradiso, especially in Esolen's editions. You will be well repaid for your efforts.

I have never read any of them. I need to get some copies of them for future reads. My book list is already so long….. almost as long as my tobacco list 😂. Have a great weekend!

Steve great video. I have read the Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer. I have only read a little of Dante's Inferno. I have read Beowulf and I have just purchased Pope's the rape of the lock. I remember paradise lost but it has been 50 years ago 😬. Not an epic poem but I also enjoyed reading Voltaire while in college. Best regards Ron

Well, if you ask me, enjoy that Pope "Rape of the Lock!" It is so witty. There was a novel published about the story behind it called Scandal of the Season by Sophie Gee, which is also quite good.

The only part of inferno I've read was published in excerpts in my 10th grade English book. Sounds like I have a reading assignment now.
