Oh Kat! This was so fun! I loved the bone underwear buttons. Love the obvious clues as to its use. By the way, a fun tip, you can use a large button to display or sell earrings with shepherd's hook, or even posts. Easier to hold & looks so pretty!!

Thanks for the great information and clear video of your collection. How can you differentiate an iridescent mother of pearl from an iridescent plastic knock off button? Thank you😊

Thanks for watching! I'm not sure how to describe how to tell the difference except that they feel differently. The mother-of-pearl ones have a deeper color and imperfections. It gets easier with practice! 🧡

Jet black is actually just called jet and as in the coal family

Sorry but these glass buttons are not "jet" they are black glass. Jet is an entirely different material. Some refer to black glass beads and buttons as "French Jet"..True jet is a semi precious stone and is very rare. Also known as "lignite".

Hi Kate, I have collected vintage and antique buttons for over 20 years and I am looking to sell them. I am not interested in listing them on ebay or etsy as there are 1000's of them. Do you know anyone that.might be interested in buying a huge lot of buttons? I spent over $1000.00 during my frenetic button buying days and would, now, like to recoup my money ( not to mention my space)
