Crazy to see the difference between a burn and not. I find alot of them in unburdened spots, but more in old burns. Gotta live the PNW!

April till August some years, if you move north, chasing the burns in the Yukon at the higher elevations

That species of burn morel tends to sound that way more than others but the camera mic also makes it sound even more dramatic than it is

Love it boys!! Hopefully me and my kids find some this year, we wish we could find them like tou do, not many burns in ontario, is it worth going to northern ontario where the fires are??

Our experience in the past with Ontario fires has been hit or miss. They are often flush later, it could be soon but we’ve seen them produce in September which is strange.

Ticks are always a concern. Orange thing was a tree felling wedge

@@northernwildharvest I normally spray Premethrin on my foraging clothes so that the ticks don't come at me. I still find some every once in awhile. Hoping to find a better solution
