Been a drummer since 97. Showed my daughter some of Morgan’s videos and now she wants to play drums. If you read this Morgan...you’ve influenced me and now my kid to pick up some sticks:)

There are obviously so many great metal, rock, heavy, drummers that have come and gone. For my money, Morgan Rose is the funkiest, hardest grooving and smoothest of all the heavy drummers I've ever heard. Besides being one of the hardest hitters, which can take away from the groove at times, he's a great showman as well.

You got to hear the new Sevendust and Morgan albums. To say I'm jealous would be a an understatement. Very very cool interview as always. And I gotta say that Morgan looks like he's doing great. Looks like he's healthy and life is treating him well. The dude just looks younger and happy. I'm stoked to hear his EP and the new 7D.

Looking forward to the new Projected record. John's with Rat Pack by the way. Morgan and Clint need to do another Call me no one record. I knew Morgan sang cuz he does some of the back up vocals during what I call the Sonny years. Being a singer myself I can tell you when you first start singing you get tired. It's like working out the first time. Your muscles are tired and same for singing. You gotta warm up and do it every day to get strong.

It`s funny how everyone seems to love "Animosity" the most. This is the album that I rarely listen to. I like "Alpha" better or "kill the flaw". Even "All I see is war" is better in my opinion. They get only better with years. I think now 7D is better then Korn and Deftones combined together. And I love those bands. Sorry to say this but... my opinion. I think 7D still tries to put out kick ass music and after a long break from them I feel like I`m discovering this band once again.

So, I basically liked every song in Animosity, including the two bonus songs. So across the board, it's a perfect record. But Home was my introduction to the band, and even records like their self-titled, Black Out the Sun and Kill the Flaw are some of the finest and heaviest records they have ever produced.
