Boo hoo. He should go and get a real job, or perhaps ask the banks if they’d be so kind as to give his debts an amnesty for a few months - just a taste how of tenants feel right now really.

Does this inform us many people are guided by their feelings, what influential people tell them , peer pressure, or even the inability to Tax their brain and think a bit more about what’s going on around them , perfect example, a few leavers said 70% of our laws came from the EU without the UK parliaments permission, hmmmm Britain has approximately 90,000 + laws , 70% equals 50,000 EU foisted laws in 43years , that’s roughly 3 a day seven days a week for 43 years, in 43 years westminster must have accommodated approximately 3,000 MPs , would they accept 3 laws a day they had no say in and say nowt ? @@kimweaver3323 Think of the House of Lords as the Senate House crossed with the Supreme Court in America, but it's not a full time job and you get paid in expenses rather than a salary. Peerages, or being a Lord is no longer hereditary. They're appointed by whichever government is in power at the time based on the amount of openings when Lords retire or pass away. This means big party donors, business cronies with partisan agendas or maybe certain views that would be considered a little fascist or racist are appointed with really scant scrutiny along with the genuine candidates. By no means are these the rule, but there's enough to gum up the works when it matters. These are still lifetime appointments. The title lord is just that, a title. They're still human. In theory anyway, electing people on their merits and knowledge rather than their connections or usefulness to a party or an individual makes sense. In reality look at the sad excuses on both sides of the pond the people elect. Both sides have pros and cons but either way I'd opine it's a can of worms.
