Ohhh nooo now you have to upload two lore videos to get caught up and now we’ll have to deal with watching of your videos “he says sarcastically with a smile of joy taking over” 😏

I have no reason to think this, but I think it'd be cute if the Ghost Snake spirit wandered up from Blackmarsh out of curiosity. It just found some out-casts trying their best and said: "hello, creatures, what are you?" to the first non-Argonians it found because it literally had no idea or frame of reference. Then it spiraled into granting power to friends who clearly love it, and there isn't much deeper going on. Just a friendly spirit noodle feeling the love.

I was just thinking that myself, though to the Atmorans Shor was a Fox and Orkey was a snake. Given that they are outcasts it could be Malacath as well.

There's zero basis for this, but what if the Ghost Snake were an aspect or fragment of the Celestial Serpent? The Serpent plays zero role in quests outside of Craglorn in ESO, but it just so happens that the Serpent is meddling around on Nirn at the same time that you can encounter the manifestation of the Ghost Snake. Again... zero basis beyond the convienence of timing. It would explain why a random spirit, who doesn't seem to have any Aedric/Deadric origins, can give random Dunmeri women special powers. Another comment mentioned it maybe coming from Blackmarsh. So, maybe something Sithis related, or even influenced by the Hist. Otherwise, it's just an oddly powerful spirit that can grant powers. Honestly, not unheard of, but exceedingly rare, even in ESO.

Okay, so because I have no respect for ESO lore I'm gonna be a smart-ass and say that in canon mabrigash is not a tribe, it's a profession. A mabrigash is "an Ashlander witch-warrior, a renegade wise woman who has forsaken the established rules of behavior for an Ashlander woman to become a master of dark magic and the weapons of war.", "And among outcast Ashlanders, beware the mabrigash, renegade witch-warrior women who practice dark magics." - There are no male mabrigash, because mabrigash is a title for an Ashlander Witch-Warrior The ghost snake is not a deity, the ghost snake is what Mabrigash magic is called. "... a renegade wise woman who has forsaken the established rules of behavior for an Ashlander woman to become a master of dark magic and the weapons of war. By secret rituals, the mabrigash steals a man's vital essence and makes herself a powerful sorcerer and warrior. The manifestation of her dark power is called a 'ghost snake' that paralyzes and drains a victim's vitality." While this quote does not refer to mabrigash specifically "They are outcasts, belonging to none of our tribes." it does clarify that being an outcast Ashlander means to belong to none of the tribes. Mabrigash just falls under that category along with all of the other Ashlanders who for whatever reason no longer belong to their tribe, but did not integrate into the Dunmmer society

@@Elmodias1 The Elder Scrolls 6 has a massive power vacuum to fill as far as expectations are concerned. I for one am ready for the next installment because at the end of the day these are a love letter to the past combined with our most mythic forms of life.

I know where you're going with that, but I don't think that's it lol. I'd say it's closer to using an Absorb/Drain Life spell similar to Vampires without the added affliction.

Why is there a singular corpse at Skuldafn that seems relatively modern? In the temple, you come across a burned corpse with a 2 handed steel sword. But no others in the entire place. Assumingly he was attacked and burned to death...by something? How'd he get there in the first place? He's not a skeleton...yet. Hoping you know...
