Really feel for Moody. He has been buried behind non NBA players like Ty Jerome, Anthony Lamb and Cory Joseph for 2 years now. Despite all that, he still plays great in his inconsistent minutes. Throw him into any random situation and he does his job. He's almost like a solid vet role player, which makes it all the more surprising why Kerr doesnt like playing him. Respect to this young man for toughing it out like he has, I wont even be upset if he moves on at the first opportunity.

@@Zucchini27 bro they need a good starting line up And good bench. Thier starters are just screen setters and passers for Steph. None of them can score or make thier own space. Draymond is enough for that in starting line up. Curry always gets doubled but warriors have nothing to counter that. Thier centre can’t score on his own. Neither can draymond or podz. Thier first instinct is to pass or look for Steph. Almost forcing it to a point other teams know that they only have to worry about one guy.

Dude has been productive whenever his name is called upon and is constantly being told “he’s earned more minutes” only to see his playing time reduced to ‘desperation minutes’ when the starters and others aren’t coming through. I agree. I'm not sure why they give Podz more minutes when moody is playing better. I think something more happening in the background. Shit always reminds me of what Chuck said about the people who put too much emphasis on analytics and not actually watching the game.
@Tac0maAr0ma
Ай бұрын
@@vic7991 idk if Moody is playing that much better but they both play vastly different roles and it’s due to Kerr’s negligence with the lineups that we found ourselves in the position we’re in. Podz isn’t a 2, and that’s pretty much where he was played the entire year when it probably should’ve been him and Moody off the bench at the guard spots. I hate to be conspiratorial but I’d agree that Kerr has a much shorter lease with Moses for whatever reason. Even in his press conference yesterday when asked about Moses he had a lot more to say about what he needs to do better than the other players, or at least that’s how it seemed. Just want our guy to get a fair shot.
@vic7991

@@Tac0maAr0ma You not the only one . Pods was starting because he's a better passer and curry is not a true point guard is more of a shooting guard but he's too short to be considered a shooting guard. That's why that lineup was getting killed on defense. Both pods and curry are not great defenders. I know taking charges are part of the game but to me it just shows me you have a high IQ does it been he's an elite defender, fuck no. That's why I hated when that white warriors broadcaster always brought up how Podz had the highest+- in the team. Even higher than curry. Any fool who would take Podz over curry based on +- is a fuckin idiot.

@@DoloBuggin I think Kerr is in a unique situation. I really thought he advanced in this situation. We've got to let him and the coaches lead the team. My only caution is to mostly coach with what you see out there, rather than trying to do what you think you should do-(i.e. what's in your head)(e.g. what 20-point leads mean. You have to cut down the number of players in the playoffs-our team is unique. We have at least 2 squads-I'm hoping 3-the last for defense.). Steve is in unchartered territory here, and I think it's very possible he will come up with new things for the NBA. He could lead us to the future. My projection of the starting line up should be Starters: PG Stephen Curry, SG Moses Moody, SF: Jonathan Kuminga, PF: Draymond Green, Center: Trayce Jackson Davis. Bench unit, #2 PG: BP, #2 SG: Klay Thompson (less money), #3 SF Andrew Wiggins (less money), with the opportunity to have the bench unite and 2nd team 4-role position and 5-role position open for new contracts. So the Warriors have room. but if Klay and Andrew are not on the Warriors this fall 2024 season start or in 4 months.
