I salute you, the greetings of respect that you gave to your wonderful channel, in which I have been participating for more than ten years. I do not know exactly, and I am approaching the age of seventy. And published on the Internet. Starting from the oscillator until the sound comes out, because my health conditions do not allow, and I will stop working on electronics, which I love so much. For information, I am from North Africa, and believe me, I love you from my heart because you are able to do electronics. I have benefited from you and your followers. I sincerely say that you are with the first teacher of electronics.

I love your videos and simple circuits! The comments or here are great as well. Very helpful group on here. I can't wait to build this. Also, your not ashamed to use a Radio Shack soldering iron. I recognize the grip and have had the same one for 20+ years!

Thank you,and your welcome. The Radio Shack soldering iron still works. I still have a Weller solder gun, and a Simpson 260 Meter I bought when I was in High School, They both still work. Hope this little AM Transmitter Circuit works for you.

Hi Rick, I always enjoy watching you videos. You explain things so well that someone like me will no electronic background can understand and not get overwhelmed. I have learned so much from you the last 10 years or so and hoping that I can pass along what I have learned from you. Your online book is absolutely amazing and well done. So pleased seeing you in action again. Have a fantastic day Rick! Regards from Florida, Jay

Excellent news that P-C70 coil is difficult to get, and even if you can get one, the price is crazy. I'm building an AM rig myself with a similar home mad coil. I'm using wavin platic plumbing tube for winding my coil. Regards Al.

I replaced the P-C70 coil with two small Bourns axial inductors/chokes in the proximity circuit that you posted. They cost about 25 cents each and come in a lot of values. They worked well for the proximity circuit. Maybe if you don’t want to wind a coil or want to save some space, they might work well in this circuit also?

You can replace IRF540 with 2N7000. Depends on availability and cheaper price. I suggest to add 100nF+100μF coupling capacitors on supply line to GND as close to coil as possible.

@@AllAmericanFiveRadio I'm sorry, I still have a few questions to make your transmitter please. This is the first time I'm going to make this type of coil and I don't have any experience. Are the 80 turn and 20 turn coils soldered together? How to make the antenna? My goal is to use this transmitter to listen to music on old radios. Thank you so much!

I built this circuit about five years rather quickly and it worked ok, but the audio transmission was not crisp. I will try to rebuild it again this fall. I have the P-C70-OSC, but will wind a home-made coil instead. There is something nostalgic about the look and feel of large air coils. I now have an oscilloscope and will to attempt to tweak the sine wave for better symmetry. Has any one fixed it yet!!!! Please share if you have.
