I posted a HyperBurngeonVape team 7 months ago (using Dehya in a hyperbloom team with a hydro vape driver) but it did not get much attention at the time probably since using Yelan to vape is mainly accessible at C1+. I'm posting another HyperBurngeonVape demonstration but with Neuvillette instead of Yelan since he is more accessible since all you need is C0.
Previous threads from March 2023 explaining the team composition:
/ 1231_in_28s_c1_yelanc0...
/ 1231_in_28s_c1_yelanc0...
tl;dw based on these results: HyperburngeonVape equal to Hyperbloom faster than Taser faster than Mono Hydro
Disclaimers:
C0 Dehya with Lv.60 R5 Rainslasher. No EM stacked on artifacts. HP stacked.
Each team was run 5-7 times for the best possible time I could get.
C0R1 Neuvillette with 4pc Wanderer's Trouple because I still don't have his full set. This could increase his reaction damage due to the 2pc effect (+80 EM).
C6 Raiden: C3+ does not affect the performance of these teams since she is triggering hyperblooms with EM stacked
C3 Nahida: C2+ definitely affects clear times but remains a constant in all runs
C6 Mona: C3+ Somewhat affects clear times in Mono Hydro thanks to her burst being higher level ("Increases the Level of Stellaris Phantasm by 3")
Thoughts:
Why Dehya?
• Hyperbloom is already broken and Dehya enables vapes to be added into the mix
• Since Dehya's pyro application is slow, she triggers burning with Nahida while also not triggering many burgeons which allows Neuvillette to vape and Raiden to hyperbloom
• Dehya's interruption resistance is useful if you have C0 Neuvillette
• Vaporize, Electro-Charged and Bloom enables Neuvillette's full passive buff
• The HyperburngeonVape team could have cleared about 4 seconds faster if I opted to just CA with Neuv at the end instead of trying to restart the rotation. I did this for consistency between all runs.
• Dehya can be given 4pc Instructors to give the entire team even more EM if you want to her use as a buff support instead of a damage mitigation support.
Why Raiden instead of Kuki?
• While Kuki and Raiden's hyperbloom damage is similar, with Raiden she can trigger the hyperblooms from a distance on-hit whereas Kuki has to be near the seed. It depends what you're fighting. Raiden's hyperblooms also donot trigger against most shields.
• Kuki is great if you prefer more healing
Why this boss?
• AFAIK, this boss is currently the highest HP boss in the game that does not move much (unlike 12-3-2), does not force you to move much (unlike 12-3-2), does not have a permanent aura on them (unlike Vivianne and Ninianne) and you can fight repeatedly (unlike new Fontaine local legends).
• Geovishap was actually too squishy and died in nearly 1 rotation for each team.
Why Layla in Mono Hydro?
• Her C4 increases charged attack damage somewhat ("...Charged Attack DMG to increase based on 5% of Layla's Max HP...")
• She can freeze most non-boss enemies
• Since her shield absorbs cryo pretty well, she can tank most of this boss's attacks
• Interchangeable with Schlongli
Why not Thoma?
• Steals too many reactions from Neuvillette and Raiden
Why not Xiangling?
• Steals too many reactions from Neuvillette and Raiden
Why not Bennett?
• Neuvillette's CA damage scales off of HP not ATK
• Neuvillette is able to heal himself and technically doesn't need a healer if played well
Why 4pc ToM on Schlongli?
• Yeah... it's more or less useless for Neuvillette's CA. He's mostly there for the shield and shred
• 4pc AP would be an alternative but I do not have it
Neuvillette's vape damage:
0:08 156k
0:10 109k
0:12 91k
0:19 96k
0:31 127k
