I've been a social worker for 29 years and you're so right about burn out. When my patients tell me they appreciate the time I took to talk with them or my colleagues from other professions compliment my work ethics, it tells me it's not time to change careers.

Ed's content has exposed every "overcompensation" that I have used to "subconsciously" overcome the trauma I have experienced in my life. Ed's content has fully exposed these "overcompensations" to the point of complete clarity of why I am not on the path to success that I know I was made for. It is not enough, even when I fully come to the realization that all the pain in my life was all for a reason. With new meaning in life, knowing I can "help those who I used to be" I can not change everything at once. Though I realize everything needs to change, I can not change everything at once. Reference 42:00-43:05 Change takes so much effort and even more time. This is massive information that I have not heard anywhere else. I have had an emotional barrier trying to change everything at once. This information is so pivotal for forward motion towards the ultimate goal. "Brick by brick my good citizens, brick by brick"

I hear a lot of reoccurring themes where achieving goals is concerned but very little about sinking so far into a life you don’t want that you wouldn’t know what to aim for if you were so inclined. Not all of us have a closeted talent. Some of us know we took a wrong turn somewhere but it’s anyone’s guess where or how to get back. Edit: still an awesome informative talk❤

Alan, great interview. And clearly the universe just confirmed to me the things I believe and practice are true and I am on the correct journey for me. I comprehend why my life is fulfilling but not necessarily a life of materialistic wealth. My north star is LOVE! I base success on doing my best as a student, a mother, a wife, a daughter, an artist, a dancer, a creator.... This interview helped me to see how my GPS has taken me to where I'm supposed to be, even if I did not know how I was getting there. I am literally crying tears of joy. Thank you. 😢❤😂
