Nice combo First time in my life I see someone casting off the ground with clamps sink First time in my life I see ground Cast without protecting your finger. Ground cast requires just 180°, not 270° ( until you are an expert and want more distance, in wich case your sink must be placed in the water so you gain this brutal 90° extra degrees.....) Perfect ground cast is not easy: do you want to know when you get it? When the joint between the line and the shock leader breacks sound barrier (very easy to notice, very hard to get that level) This is the way the ones unable to catch up pendullum cast think that are at the same level than those who place half a kilo of sink and bait to 100 m from your position

Dunno if it's just a UK thing, but try looking for something called a finger stall. If you have a euro style fishing store, you might also find it being called a spod glove. I do have to make a small correction as a very seasoned surf angler! The load point that you need your lure/sinker varies from rod to rod you need to find the optimal load point on each rod as what dorks on one isn’t guaranteed to work on another rod also what you’re throwing and how much it weights also effects the rods load up point!

Its more important to make sure its tight on a conventional reel than spin.
