I think for $80 or so, this is a great deal but there are a few caveats. 1)This is not for very long runs 2)If youre a big guy, e.g. 6'2 260, and jog say 20 miles a week, this shoe will only last 6-8 weeks and 3)The React heel wears fairly quickly. The goal is to walk on the balls on your foot 4)Also, this is designed for a moderately high instep BUT if you have a very deep foot and a flat foot, e.g. me, it will work. 5)I dont think its more durable than the IR2. The breathability is very good. If you're only 190 lbs, this shoe will last you a LONG TIME. Heel stability/lockdown is good, as stated in review. If the shoe is too tight, wear smaller socks and change to short laces, skipping eyelets. You can also stretch them by hand. I have 4 pairs of the IR2 & 5 of the IR3. I recommend rotating them for max durability. It's nice and wide overall, solid grip. Just as an example, the Adi 4dfwd 2.0 is a little better at a lot more money. Not worth another $70 or so. Oh and I almost forgot, if there's more than a $30 price diff, get the Infin Run2. Theyre very similar.

Hi @elvispresley2365 . You mentioned that as long as one is 190 lbs down, it'll last a long time. I'm just around 140 lbs and contemplating on buying an Infinity react 3 which is on sale at around US$90 right now to be used either primarily (1) as a walk around-everyday-office shoe; (2) on the treadmill; (3) On rare occasions, traveling and hiking. Having mentioned my use cases, will it be durable enough to last perhaps at least 3-4 years? Other options are New Balance's 1080 v12,, 880 v13, more comp 4 fuelcell. Thank you.

Suggests going in a different direction at the end for an alternative shoe but didn’t say what direction he would go

Looks like mid season they added the pull tab back to the shoe in certain color ways (white with red swoosh) also lighter upper material and added some nylon/plastic around toe box, perhaps due to thinner material? I opted for the first half option as price was better on sale $93 vs $111 with pull tab, for nearly $20 I will deal with thicker upper and no pull tab.

Hey man, I am currently deciding between Pegasus 39 and Infinity Run 3 as a daily, more of a walking shoe. Which one do you think is better? Thanks :)

I tried both and I can say Nike React Infinity Run 3 is more lightweight compared to Zoom Pegasus 39. For comfort, I am more to React rather than 39 React is softer on the feet, while zoom has more hard-rubbery-like feeling on the feet because React uses foam technology while zoom uses fiber technology 39 is great for running, but I won't wear them for a long walk in terms of comfort

I've hered good reviews on the vomero 16 more than the V2. A daily shoe 👟 for all type vomero or infinity v3 ?

Depends on what you want. Vomero is going to be softer and more traditional. Infinity has more of a rocker feel and a tighter fitting upper. Personally I like the rocker feel so I’m going with the infinity.

Does it still have the high pronounced arch like V1? I have V1 and it just didn't work for me. I have decently high arches, however the arches are so high and pronounced in these that I couldn't run more than 5 miles before my arches would hurt.

Personally I didn’t have an issue here. It’s definitely noticeable but I didn’t find it too aggressive.

The Nike by you version offers you the option to choose waffle or storm thread outsoles for that matter. The only caveat is it costs $20 more, but I think it’s well worth the cost if your living environment is humid, rainy and snowy.
