@@MissingYouser what prejudice? Saying "I don't like *blank* form of entertainment"? You can acknowledge that something is not aimed at your demographic without it being "racist". Not everything is meant to be a targeted nuke aimed at a community and shouldn't be taken that way either. If he had said "I'm really into this young, black scream stream content lately", no one would have a problem. Can't always assume the worst in ppl. Kai Cenat and ishowspeed make content that is aimed at, for and watched by a predominantly black community w/ content and guests that are almost exclusively associated with "black" American culture. A non black dude acknowledging that and saying it's not for him because of it shouldn't be shocking or considered racist. You'd be denying the existence of a "black" culture in that case. We want to grant unique identity to cultures and deny that that individuality, by nature, excludes ppl outside of it. If Destiny had said instead "nah, I'm not into this zoomer screaming content", many of his critics would have then acknowledged that it's predominantly done by black zoomers and that's why he doesn't like it. they're just not using to having people talk about their race. the giveaway is when the one guy at the start calls DGG liberals and says they dont care about black issues because of that. he is showing his power level. he wants to be able to endlessly talk sh1t about non-blacks and get nothing in return. in DGG everyone gives and takes, which is why it is a popular and fun place to be. I am from the UK, I get clowned on for that all the time. In return I clown on the German people and the US people. Everyone gets made fun of, everyone gets stereotyped - but no one is sitting down and calling you slurs, that is a flat out lie, and no one is dogwhistling either unless that one guy thinks "why do black people like 2K?" is a dogwhistle. Of what? Black people liking sports and sports video games? oh the humanity... Wait till he hears my tales of being told I eat fish and chips and drink tea.... so offensive!!

I think it's a fundamental part of how humans developed. Not race but whatever immediately striking and divergent physical feature is going to standout. Hair to the ground, wheel chair, speedo. It's bad in some ways because you want people to see you for you, and not something you didn't chose. But at the same time they also don't understand how easy it is to be looked over when you blend in. I don't think anyone wants to be in either situation all of the time. People need to work on putting their individuality on display and also ignore the people who immediately see their superficial characteristics. Because we all do that. It's something we actually all have in common, as much as we may try to overcome it.

@@SupaDupaDangalike name users, provide screenshots, refer you to a specific date? No. I remember there were a few questionable things said about black men during the Annalecia- LTG arch. Also there are Pepe’s a plenty and supportive emojis when something racist is said, but to be fair that’s in general with all races and not just specific to black people. With that said, it can give off a light impression of racism being culturally acceptable (only referring to general chat and the few weeks I ducked in and out) as long as it’s subtle enough and/or logically justifiable via some sort of statistic or anecdote. I wanna be clear that I personally have never observed overt racism as they were mentioning in their Albanian example, but I don’t doubt from what I’ve experienced. The vibe gives you might run in to that, though. Considering even black people cant use the n-word with the soft a in the chat, I feel confident that there are at least procedures and averts in place to discourage racism altogether. There seems to be a work around for it however.

The phrase “dog whistle” is about as useless as “racist” is anymore. Perfect example, talking crime statistics with my cousin this past weekend, primarily about attacks on Asians. HE brought up demographics, so this was his subject, but I simply stated that blacks overwhelmingly attack Asians compared to Asians attacking blacks. This is just an undisputed fact, and it’s data, which was the context. He then turned to me and was like “WHOA!!! That’s some serious dog whistle $hit, I wouldn’t say that in public”. My cousin is black, I’m white, but he’s known me for almost 38 years…he knows me. If he didn’t know me, I guarantee he would be one of those people claiming my factual data, even in context, was a dog whistle, and calling me a racist

@@ihsahnakerfeldt9280 yes, it is possible. But that’s why I specifically said, we were speaking about data, in context.
