As it happens with Black Sabbath's "Born Again", "Another Perfect Day" is a terribly underrated album. Just don't care about what everybody say, both are awesome!

How did Brian Robertson not appreciate his position in Motörhead - creating the Best Music of his career ? Some people are just not so smart Another Perfect Day one of many Fantastic Motörhead albums and quite possibly their best ... Motörhead have so many great songs with Larry , Eddie , Brian , Wurzel , Phil all elevating the magic of rock n roll

To this day I really don't understand why this album was so poorly received not only by critics but apparently by fans as well. I was 14 at the time, and this still remains a milestone to me (ok not as great as A.O.S. and the like, but still). Sure YES Brian Robertson was NOT Eddie Clarke, but God Damnit! Listen to what these three lads put out here! To me it's not just a cherished part of my teens, it's great rock'n roll music. And to any Motorhead fan, that should pretty much do the trick...

Motorhead didn't get any airplay back in the day so word of mouth and MTV is how you discovered this great music. I had the pleasure of seing them live in 1980 with Ozzy. They were a great band. I bought this album in 1983 after hearing this song. Thanks for posting

Lemmy didn't fire Brian because of the shorts or because of his short red hair. On rehearsal, Brian showed up with long, curled brown hair and although he wanted to have a contract for just one album, Lemmy signed him up. Later, Brian showed up with short, coloured red hair. If Lemmy had any problem with that, he could have fired Brian at once - but Lemmy didn't fire Brian, Lemmy also said that he never had any problem with Brian as long as he did his job. Brian, and only Brian, is responsible for his firing and he caused it himself with his outrageously bad attitude in concert. You should read "White Line Fever", there, Lemmy tells the story. It happened in Hanover. Brian started "Another perfect Day" and Lemmy said "Stop, we just played that!" - this repeated itself three times in a row, this and Brian's look enraged the place that was crowded with Hell's Angels who don't know the language of fun, they wanted to kill him. Lemmy found Brian after that gig at the airport and fired him. Brian was prepared, he was expecting it, but Philthy wasn't, he was the next one to leave.

My most favorite player in the world. I've listened to just about everybody from Eric Johnson to Al Dimeola,EVH, PGilbert, Malmsteen, All the great blues player, flashy metal( hair, black, thrash you name it) AOR gods like N Schon, S. Lukather. NWOBHM dudes.Weird ones like Steve Hacket, J Mcloughlin. The great Uli Roth...everything. I would always come back to him ..I listen to this guy everyday literally. Best work for me is the Fighting album and his work with the wild Horses..The lead on the song precious is a million times better than the Still In Love with You solo for me. Hello from the Philippines. AND THE ONLY GUYS WHO STOOD UP AGAINTS LEMMY..Now that's R N' Roll for you!

I knew I had recognized that similar riff somewhere @ 1:22, by another band. I'm sure the Mighty Motorhead have never even heard of Grand Funk Railroad's tunes lol. But that riff reminds me of the the Grand Funk tune "Shinin' On". It's also a killer tune as well. Has kind of an echo on that run! Peace!
