Wow, can I just say how incredibly produced your videos are?? I’m a thereminist and have been meaning to learn how to use my mother 32 for a year now but have been totally daunted by it. And as a content creator I know how much work goes into making videos! Stunning job, and thank you!!

I just sold my A4 and got a moog 32 and a minilogue XD instead to accompany my Octatrack. Seems I have found exactly the right channel. Thanks a lot mate, your doing a great job.

Thank you, great video. Mother 32 was my rabbit hole into synths, or more specific, eurorack. Mum is good. Not great but good imo. I love the sound, the features, layout, build quality and the general design is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to synth, and it is also no problem for skilled musicians to produce amazing pieces with say three mums. However, the sequencer and programing of this thing is really bad I think. In my current context I use mine mostly as utility. it might collect dust most of the time but I will never sell it. I would recommend anyone interested in semi modular synths to check out other brands to. Pittsburgh's "Lifeforms", "0 Coast" from Make Noise or any of those good value ones from Arturia.

I don’t know much about Moog products but this one looks so cool. Would you say it’s a good entry level? Also, can you get more ambient-ish sounds too? Less harsh electricity coming from my power outlets

I would say this is the absolute best synth for getting started in subtractive synthesis/sound design as well as an entry point into eurorack! Another great Moog option is the Werkstatt, but that doesn’t have the awesome sequencer and isn’t eurorack compatible if you ever want to add more modules. And yes, it can get reaaaally ambient and warm if you want it to!

@@ShinesTV sounds great, thanks for the insight on this unit! It looks pretty flexible cause you can use it on its own or expand it with modular stuff.
