0:13 *24-pin connector* . Located along the right edge of the mobo. 0:25 *P-4/EPS connector* . Sometimes 4 pins, sometimes 8 pins. Often are splitted apart. If the mobo has 8-pin socket but your PSU has only the 4-pin you can still plug it in. Do make sure you don't plug in the PCI-e 8-pin into the EPS otherwise you fry your mobo. 0:53 *3-pin fan header* can be installed with 3-pin fans or 4-pin fans, but the latter (?) can only compatible with analog fan speed control. 1:16 *Front panel headers* : power, reset, hard drive * power LED. To plug this consult the motherboard manual. Sometimes they're color-coded, sometimes labeled on the board. LED connectors needs specific direction to plug in unlike the power & reset connector which are arbitrary. 1:45 *USB 2 front headers* . Use more power. Often color-coded. Follow the way the pins are organized on the connector along the ones in the header to plug in. 2:05 *USB 3 Super Speed front headers* . Make sure both case and mobo support it. Usually color coded or labeled, and pretty much distinctive. Usually have adapters so it can be plugged in the USB 2 headers, albeit not _as fast as_ the USB 3. 2:33 *Front panel audio connector* . To hook up microphone/headphone jack. Usually located on the bottom-left of the mobo. Labeled 'HD' or 'Azalea'. 3:03 this guide does not include expansion slots or data connections 3:10 *Auxiliary power connector* . Intended to multi-graphic cards users, carry additional power beside the 24-pin or the 8-pin to prevent the 24-pin to burn out. 3:29 click for surprise.

He says at 0:13 where it's usually located, if it's a 20 pin and 4 pin, just stick them together and plug it in normally. It only goes in one way.
@JDWonders
8 жыл бұрын
Older motherboards used to only have 20-pin connections. Power supply manufacturers for the most part make their cables with a 20+4 configuration so that their power supplies work on as many motherboards as possible. There are some power supplies where the 24 pins are all fused together into a single piece though. If you have a motherboard that only has 20 pins make sure you avoid those. If you plug in only the 20-pins into a 24-pin motherboard, it will probably not turn on. And if it does turn on, it will be under-powered and give you a lot of problems.
@KronicNitron

PhysX makes a couple more things have better physics; e.g. cloth waving in the wind, realistic splash particles. Normal PhysX is preformed by the CPU and does minor PhysX effects, while Advanced PhysX, only present on Nvidia mid-range to high range cards, processes much more detail in the environment and particle array.

VGA is analog, so not only is it lower resolution it also has artifacts. DVI comes in different versions including dual link, which supports much higher resolutions than HDMI. HDMI has audio, but lower resolution than DVI. Display Port: Pretty much the highest bandwidth external connector ever, supports any resolution you can imagine.

VGA has an analouge signal, and DVI has digital and analouge signal on most graphics cards (that's why you can use dvi to vga adapters/cables). HDMI and Display Port only have digital signal. I wouldn't say that VGA has worse quality than the rest, but its analouge signal may cause problems with electromagnetic interference and it is an outdated standard originally made for crt displays (lcd's are digital).
