I went full carnivore diet 4 years ago. I drive transport truck and when I travel I just stop at any fast food burger joint and order 6 - 8 hamburger patties. A&W cooks eggs in the mornings as well. I am good for an entire day on 1 meal. Healthiest easiest diet in the world and perfect for travelling.

I have had my msr dragonfly for years. It is more or less a blowtorch to cook with. Great to heat water but simmer with forget it. 😄

Really? Very interesting! I wonder if they made any adjustments to it recently. I just got back from a 28 day trip to the Arctic Circle where I used it daily (with gasoline as a primary fuel) and it simmered wonderfully for me. (my only complaint is it sounds like a jet engine 😂)

Great video. ..but a piece of friendly advice from an old guy..lol. When you buy a piece of new equipment that you'll have to rely on them try it at home a couple of times. Manufacturing defects show up at the worst time...ask me how I know,..lol

Thanks! 🙏🙂 Yep I 100% agree! In fact, this video was made during a full “test run” before I left on an 18,000 km trip to the Arctic!

Nice. What size is the pot you used and brand? Way too many people only bring a small pot to boil water and your method is far better for superior eating.

Thanks! This pot is an MSR 1.5L pot. After the 1.5 L mark, there still enough room to put an additional 250 ml or so in if you need a bit more contents. I believe they sell a stacking kit with this pot and a larger 2.5 L pot as well. I’ve always had good luck with MSR products! :)

I paid the big bucks for one of these years ago, was the most dirty stove I ever used, covers everything it comes near with soot, when it started leaking I didn't bother to repair it even though I had a repair kit. Propane is where it's at for me... PS I hate skeeters.....

I used the MSR super fuel which is very clean - no soot whatsoever. However, on my way to the Arctic circle, I ran out and used standard gasoline as I was in a pinch and it worked great - but that fuel left black soot on my pots. Easily cleaned off with the camp rag though! And yes, skeeters are the worst! 😅
