Great job Tony it is beautiful....way better looking now then when new....I have never liked the "Custom Look" and they are way more difficult to get the right stance when modifying. Simple and clean the way it should be! The machine work is fantastic as well!

Kimbo? Who is Kimbo? I am the only Kjmbo i know. I did own a v7 sport for ten years. My favorite bike and probably the best handling bike i ever rode. Think the rotation of engine, flywheel, clutch, transmission drive shaft in one plane and the wheels and ring gear rotating in a perpendicular plane creates a gyroscopic stability that made picking a line, leaning the bike and and the Guzzi would hold that line and lean angle through the entire turn.

The bike looks great! Love the colour and the mazing work you have done. I notice you no longer have the battery plate but I couldn't see anything else there which is doing its job in its place. I replaced my original battery plate because it had split in one corner and the holes were ovalled, evidence that a lot of twisting forces go through this plate. I think on some Calis they had a part of the frame that came down to meet the gearbox but I can't see that either.

What a great job and a good read in the Gambalunga. What did you use on your grinder for rounding off the barrels please?
@jtccc
9 ай бұрын
Thanks! I started off with a 60 grit flap wheel to take the bulk of the material off. I then used a flat sanding disc with, 180 grit to finish it off. I also used some thin sheet steel between the fins so I didn’t damage the one underneath as I was grinding. There is more information on my blog, and also if you look through my videos on here, there is one of me actually doing it to the barrels. Www.Jtccc.Wordpress.Com
