Hello Theodore. I appreciate that this video dates back a while. I was wondering if you could let me know where the horn/rectifier cover came from. Many thanks...🙂

Nice bike! Had Braking rotors on my ‘17 Tuono RR. They did the job well. I’m really desiring the V9 for a second bike. Has character!

It certainly has character. The suspension isn't great but everything else is. The power delivery is awesome. DO NOT GET A EURO E5 BIKE. Get an E4. I have a V85TT E5 and the ECU map SUCKS. Excellent bike but simply doesn't like the new emissions mandate.

Oh how nice is your bike !! I'm also planing to buy a V9 as soon as possible (wich I prefer than V7) and I must say the parts you added is about what I'd like to change from original. Otherwise I like the "Bober Sport" as it is proposed (except couple things). I still don't know what's gonna be my choice. Thank you for that video, it did help. Have fun !! V

Great running and riding bikes, only issue I had was a shop bent an ABS ring on my rear wheel when they installed my new tires. I have about 9000 miles on mine, Sidecuts on it, wrapped pipes, K and N air filter, custom headlight faring I bought and cut to size, V9 Roamer Risers because it allows you to ride more forward instead of upright and a tune. I got like 8400 miles out of the stock tires, and I also had to replace the rear brake pads.

Did you gain anything from the K&N filter? I have the GTM tune from todd, it smoothed things a bit and the bike is running much cooler. However, I didn't gain any HP. Todd asked me when I ordered the tune if I was going with a K&N filter but I declined since the bike was still new and under factory warranty.

@@theodoremarakas9899 Without the tune I couldn't tell, but once tuned, the bike is 1000+ times better, super fast acceleration compared to stock, Untuned with pipes and filter maybe a little difference and a lot of popping. After no popping out the exhaust I run K and N in all my vehicles except my Kawasaki W800 which they do not offer one for it. My dealership owner was also in charge of the regional warranty claims, he told me no matter what I did he would warranty cover my bike if I had it tuned by him. I also forgot to mention I opted for the European style foot controls over the American, they are a lot more comfortable.

@@chuckr5929 Thank you for the info. Take a look at my bike by typing Moto Guzzi v9 bobber accessories on KZitem. I also have the Agostini exhaust, every single accessory under the sun including the Euro rearsets. The warranty is over so now the bike has been modified to a ridiculous level. I took a $10k bike and made it a $25k. However, I didn't change the filter. The tune smoothed things out a bit but no gains in performance. I'm wondering if the tune went in ok, I'll have to re-install it. I do get 3 pops on deceleration, I have no baffles on the exhaust. One thing for sure, the bike doesn't get as hot as when it had the original exhaust and tune. No surging when stuck in traffic under hot weather but honestly I expected a bit more for the $500 I spent on the tune.

@@theodoremarakas9899 Sounds good man, I don't know what tune they put in at the Dealership but it's a good one, I know depending on the gas I use a get a small amount of surging, I run premium all the time but my state doesn't do gasoline testing so it is a 50/50 chance if you will get bad gas.

Hi. I just sold my Triumph Scrambler and found a very low miles, gen 1 (2017) v9 bobber with some tasteful upgrades. I'm always leary of buying a first year production model regardless of make. Do you know if Moto Guzzi had any problems with the v9 their first year? Great descriptive vid! Thank you.

DPM is a company making parts for MotoGuzzi and sold by Moto Guzzi ONLY. All the parts from the Guzzi accessory catalog are made by DPM. DPM is a company who makes parts for a whole bunch of motorcycles, Japanese, Italian, German, etc. Their quality is top notch. Next week I'll be making another video since the bike has been modified even more. By the way, Google AF1Racing.com they are Guzzi dealers and they have all these parts. From there, you can see the part numbers and order from them, ebay, or a bunch of other dealers who have them on sale or better prices.

Where did you get the rear master cylinder cover?
@theodoremarakas9899

Cadre Cycle, and also AF1racing.com both have it. It fits perfect. I don't remember what it costs, probably around $150, check out the website for the part numbers and then look at the usual suspects like Ebay, usually they can be had for at least 25% discount. Also google the part numbers, other sellers pop up with great prices.

@@DarrenWatson64 Hey, check out the new video that I made yesterday. It is low in terms of video and sound quality but there's some useful information for any rider. I would do a riding video but I know very little next to nothing on cameras and editing. However, if I run into somebody who can lend me his setup and process the video I'd be more than happy to do it. I made these two videos only to help others who want to modify their bike or wondering what certain parts may look like installed. Someday I might make a video on the Aprilia Tuono, BMW F800ST, KTM Duke and a couple of other bikes that I own. Winter is coming for the NYC area and even though I ride all year around and under any conditions I prefer to ride the BMW the most because of comfort, low price value and ease to ride in Manhattan. My other bikes aren't great in bad weather and too expensive for commuting, I only use them when my destination offers garage and security, basically they are recreation bikes By the way, what kind of bike do you ride? Are you a Guzzi rider by any chance? yes, I do have 2 Volkswagen Sportwagen TDI cars in immaculate shape and a 1967 Bentley that keeps me busy fixing, LOL. Care to visit my garage to play and help? I have excellent beer and wine at all times.
