It depends on you, not all foreigners can live like me, I think a minimum 350 us dollars monthly eating simple food, no hotels, no restaurants, sleeping under tent

Real Filipino life most foreigners can not endure it. If you have shelter covered, $30/month for food will do to live like a Filipino. You'll be eating a little bit of rice once a day accompanied by bagoong sauce. If you want to eat, live like a foreigner, being single, not eating out and no vices, no shelter, then you'd need around $600 in the province. It's difficult to say as people don't know your lifestyle, whether you smoke, drink, this and that.. If you mean living the life of Fanur, that's a tough one and $350 should be about right, but that requires a different kind of foreigner. Fanur is a tough dude.

Yes, krymes committed against foreigners, rich Filipinos, and public officials by Communist groups. It happens from time to time and now Fanur is in the mountains, which is where most of these groups operate. South Mindanao is not recommended for foreigners to visit.
