Mount Ellinor is a popular day hike in the Olympics - and for good reason! You just can't beat these views from the summit. With Lake Cushman down below to the South, verdant valleys all around, and Sawtooth Ridge to the Northwest as backdrops, this is one of the more picturesque summits I've been to.
The climb up was fairly straight-forward, although when I went there was a fair amount of snow, which necessitated traction devices. Although I didn't bring crampons and made it up just fine, I'd recommend bringing crampons, as the gully up to the summit area steepens substantially towards the top.
