That was really neat. Thank-you. Can't wait for all that to green-up, for sure.

Thank you! And congratulations to you, too! Do you still hike the Whites? Maybe we’ll run into you.

Never went up Monadnock that way (just did the usual white dot and cross). Thanks for sharing! Will have to try the way you guys went and try and find those secret places (hear there are 2). Did you guys have to pay the usual fee/register/reserve going this way? (like you do when leaving from the park HQ lot for white dot)?

No fee to park for Marlboro, Dublin, or Pumpelly Trails. Pumpelly is more beautiful, but longer and has much less parking (space on the side of the road). Marlboro is short and steep with fun scrambles. It’s our favorite, but Pumpelly is a very close second. The road into Marlboro is in bad shape, but short. We haven’t used Birchtoft, Metacomet-Monadnock, or Old Toll to access Monadnock. Old Toll is pay to park, not sure about Birchtoft, pretty sure free parking for Metacomet. So many great trails!
