This is why I love the inturwebs. Have the exact same issue with the exact same model (that's making my breaker jump). Thanks for this. Will try to find resolution now.

Have a Little Gourmet from 2005 back when Mountain Plumbing still offered a lifetime guarantee on all working parts. No plastic components to this model (think it's an MT540 or MT640) but it's started having issues (sputtering, leaking from tank) so shopping for a new dispenser.

I had this same problem. If you remove the silicone bladder and put the clamshells back together, you can see how they no longer meet flat. The best solution would be to re-flatten them, perhaps with sandpaper. What I tried instead was applying silicone to both sides of the shell before putting the gasket back in. I then closed them together and squeezed very gently to make sure it was even. I'm going to let it dry fully, *then* carefully re-insert the screws and slowly tighten them down.

Replaced it with updated model, but also installed a water leak sensor this time. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best.

Thanks for the vid, I thought I had mine fixed by reconnecting the tube between the bladder and tank but still leaks everywhere. This is likely my problem as well. Mountain builds crap products and then does not support them, why on Earth would you send them another penny? I never will again.
