Cool idea on the wheelbase extendo modification. Too bad it doesn't seem to help the rig make the obstacle. I was reading some comments about people destroying nature. We'll sorry to say but most people who 4x4 have small trail areas through vast forests. We get to see a lot of nature while also having fun with our hobby. Our trails twist and wind through areas that after a year of not using get so over grown you can't find the trail. One day the logging company moved in and obliterated the entire forest. You want to see nature destroyed? Most of us wheelers are out in nature protecting our land from people that come and dump garbage and litter.

Never seen anything like that extending chassis before! That was wicked cool, I bet it comes in handy getting out of some jams (except trying to climb smooth rocks)! Nothing wrong with having to winch it once in a while! Epic trail rig anyway!

Ok, that seriously made me go "Wait, WHAT?" It's subtle enough to be a possibly-weird camera angle, especially when you're paying attention to the rear-steer instead, right up until a certain point when . . . . "Holy S#*? it DID do that!"

When I first saw it, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I've never seen adjustable hydraulic wheelbase. With that kind of adjustability and rear steering, how can that thing not go anywhere? Very impressive. 5 stars to the guy who built it and 5 stars for this video.

Amazing job. I have the most respect for the builder. Has he ever thought of telescopine the rear axle? He might have more success pushing the heavier part of the rig (engine,cab,winch etc...) over the obstical.

@mountainsideorp im all for offroading i was making a point to the tree hugger rednoseroxy which your last comment only helped me say. offroading isnt as bad on the environment as everything else humans build. wheeling dosent harm anything its like a hike through the woods in a truck. yes trucks let off CO2 but trees do recycle CO2 into oxygen thats biology 101. the exhaust pipe would have to stay on that tree for like an hour to kill it. unless it got pulled up by the roots that twig didnt die.

Nice truck ! However, overinflated tires with perhaps wrong or inadequate tread pattern AND too much power means the tires WILL spin and lose traction. I have seen 500hp monsters do incredible things, then not make it up "simple" slopes where too much HP ruined traction... and the "tiny crawlies" like a Suzuki would just crawl up with itsy bitsy 50hp. Try 15-18psi and skinnier tires next time *^)
@fnjeep90

not many power waggons left granted its just the body but it looks bad ass one tip air your tires down to about 8-9 psi if running radials and 3-5 if on bias

@rednoseroxy one last thing to think about. off roading (if done to get from point A to point B) is more environmentally friendly than cutting down all the trees, blasting out that rock, leveling all the dirt away, and laying down a scab on earth, pavement, to drive a prius on. If you dont see the point of offroad well its no different than any other past time activity. people spend money on sports equipment and some spend it on gas to go wheeling. and some spend it on computers to troll videos.

My point is , as you can see that truck has every fucking thing you want on a nice off road rig, but with all the goodness, without low tire pressure you get no traction, the lower the tire pressure , the bigger the foot print, the more traction...

Oh and by the way. I know all of you tree loving people did not like seeing the trees getting hit. So I promise to not show that in the future videos. In fact, I CUT ALL OF THEM DOWN! WOO HOO LETS WHEEL BOY'S, but watch out, them stumps are slippery when wet!!!
