The country has to move forward. Those buildings are a disgrace. So Grenada needs to continue looking like shanty towns? Come on people " you don't care about your country. Be proud and make it look WELCOMING.

Grenadaians are too political. Whatever party in power is never good enough. When politicians soon feed you because they want to keep you begging them. And when others trying to allow you to help yourselves, you don't know where to begin. People smarten up and take control of your future you have all the resources you want.

I think the government should build some decent looking booths for these people instead of kicking them out from the area, the truth is these buildings are an eye sore in such an area

As Keith, has been preaching the "poor" and venerable over the years Grenadaians are so brain washed with this jargon they cannot think for themselves. These vendors are on government land, and at their meetings they promised to relocate the vendors. So hold them accountable.

For a lot of persons making these political comments...i am watching in this VERY SAME video that trucks and cars are having difficulty to freely drive along what is supposed to be one of the main roads in Grenada. Yes, i do agree that the notice should be longer and there should be an alternate facility to place these people but let's not ignore the main issue at hand. Our road infrastructure needs some serious development.

Sad to say squatting is a rampant issue in our land. Recall during the Ivan time, many lost help cause Housing for Humanities via President Carter, had to leave c/o too many squatters. What was sad, is that we created and is still creating our own disadvantage and hardship,. Law and order, is for everyone's benefit. Hence abide,!!

@@shockerthedan670 I don't think some of you realize or care to realize what is like to have nothing and go about to make an honest living. Poor people always have it hard in Grenada. Have ever tried getting loan in Grenada? The bank and other financial institutions always catered to the rich folks. Financial institutions will refuse a loan because you make enough, you don't have assets and you don't have family name. It's form of financial discrimination. While the financial institutions will deny a poor on the grounds of risk the same does not apply to folks with social status. So, the financial institutions will put road blocks on top road blocks in the name of risk aversion. While it may sound like legitimate concern, it's financial discrimination. Credit union was a step up from sou-sou. If you take a look at credit unions throughout the Caribbean you will noticed that the business operations never catered for their members to borrow more than what they earn. Rich folks get credit to invest to make money and to accumulate assets which in turn is used to amass more wealth. The viscous cycle continues. Children continue to born and grow in poverty. It's like some poor folks are so accustomed to being poor that they will keep their own self down.... It's not uncommon for you to hear " I WOULD ALL MY LIFE I COULD NOT AFFORD PIECE OF LAND WHAT MAKE YOU THINK YOU COME AND DO IT BEFORE ME". This attitude is very chronic and perpetues the viscous cycle. So, how can poor folks break the viscous cycle? There must start from somewhere. It's for this reason, I get frustrated with the call reparations. All the folks in power enjoys the benefit from colonial times. While the white man may not be fiscally at helm the attitude is still there. All rich folks who own business establishments don't need any help because they donate large sums to both Political parties. Anyone wins they still in control. Don't be so short sighted. All the stalls can be built with an aesthetic appeal with proper washroom facilities. Yet, rich folks can buy they way into Grenada. CBI must cancele with immediate effect.
