Just a heads up for anyone else wanting to construct a mask: DON'T use popsicle sticks or other wood/paper/cardboard. You'll get very sweaty and if you continue to use this costume those components will get moldy due to the sweat. Use EVA foam for those areas instead, I recommend the anti-fatigue mats from harbor freight as they're thick enough to be sturdy

My entire costume is made out of cardboard. It’s quite a sturdy material if you layer it up.

I regret using only cardboard for my cosplays for so many years now since you said mold 💀 but tbh I've had a springbonnie cosplay for 2 years now, and have NEVER encountered mold or anything like that on a single piece of cardboard, although I'll probably move on to Eva foam even though it seems kind of expensive

Actually I came here hoping this might help me with making a G1 Optimus Prime Faceplate, because strangely it stretches down whenever he talks in the cartoon. Going off of the Season 2/1986 Movie head design, since it looks better than the one in Season 1 Here is an example of what I mean for anyone who's curious: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sW19y52pi5OalKg
