You can get sweet sugar water and dye it a certain color to change the color of the repletes

Wow! That's got to be the wildest ant species I've seen yet. How do they rank on the easy to very difficult chart? How about their sting, pinchers? I've seen the bullet ant and the bull ant.. Frankly, 2 species I will most certainly avoid!!!

Usaully when I see ants I don’t think much and stomp them but after I watch these videos I realize how important jsut one ant is. Especially when they carry the eggs, it’s very cute and I love these types of ants, keep posting!

oh gosh ive seen them so far get transferred twice and all three homes were so awesome. I'm so jealous. i truly wish I could have all three of those homes and then start my own little honey pot colony. they really do love you. awesome video man.

I used to live in AZ and tried to find honey pots as these are one of my dream species however I had no luck. Unfortunately for my ant keeping I have now moved to Montana and we don't have them here. But I still love to see them.

Hey, I just watched one of your Snaps where you were moving a giant colony into it’s new home. The eggs were stuck to one of the repletes. And you mentioned you had had the queen for two years and they have been documented to live up to 40 years. I’m curious how big was this colony when you started it? Also, after a replete is “drained” can it be refilled, or does it just revert into a worker? How does that work? I really enjoy your Snap channel!
