Today I'm moving some Gaura that was newly planted only a few days ago. Why am I moving it, you ask? Well, within a couple of days of being in the ground, it went from 2' tall & lush to a couple of bare stems - all because of the neighbourhood rabbits - argh!
On the bright side, I already had the perfect plant to takes its place - a salvia that had been on my wish list for several years now 'Caradonna'. This variety of salvia has dark purple spikes and deep red stems - it's gorgeous! Best of all, the rabbits should leave it alone - hopefully!
Happy gardening!
