We used to be in the Air Force so we definitely have found some good packing tips lol definitely learned packing with smaller boxes in the kitchen the hard way 😂 another thing we do, is get paper towels to wrap things so we can reuse it when we unpack to clean things. Also foam plates work great to put between your plates so they don’t crack! And super easy! 🙌 thanks for sharing girl! I hope you have a great day 😘

My biggest tip would be to declutter before you pack and 1 room at a time.

In Canada we can get boxes from the liquor stores. Most come with dividers inside to prevent breakage of the liquor bottles. I use these boxes to pack glasses, vases, figures, etc. Works great.

@ Valerie Cooper, lol that's what we do as well. We wrap them in paper or tea towels and then into their own little slots. (You can use those dividers in dressers/drawers too)

I’m the complete opposite I actually kind of like unpacking because In a way I could start fresh and start over and decorate or whatever however I want but when packing stuff up things seem to get dirtier it more stressful and way more time consuming

I found a good way to know what cabinets and drawers have been emptied is by placing a piece of washi tape on the empty drawer or door. Saved loads of headaches. Where do you get that paper for the glasses? I just used newspaper and would have loved the other.

Chiari Bash I’ve found this at Home Depot. It’s so much better than newspaper and honestly I think it’s cheaper unless you already get the newspaper. Plus no ink on your hands! 😄

Good to know! Yeah I already had a massive amount of newspapers since I used to get them and we get weekly stuff in our mail here that's basically a newspaper.

I used newspapers. Got them at the grocery store where they have loads of old papers that were not sold. But thats maybe only in my country. And yes you need to wash all the dishes when unpacking because of the ink😏

They don’t fit anywhere in closets. I already had two so I just didn’t need them any longer. It served a great purpose for toys when the kids were little. 👍🏼🤗

That paper roll is genius, I always use newspaper and some of the ink usually comes off on the glass and I end up re washing it all. Which is so time consuming. Great tips!

Great video. A great way to be green and save money is to use newspaper to wrap . Also most grocery stores are throwing out tons of boxes daily . You can take them for free . I love using boxes from the office that 500 sheets of paper come in as they are perfect .

My favorite paper to use for packing is newspaper end rolls. Most newspapers have them available for free and it's usually a pretty good amount. Also, it is the best paper to put down when you are doing crafts or your kids just want a big paper to color.

Hey Kimberly. We are about to be in the process of moving. We have clear storage bins w things already in. Do u suggest we bring it in moving truck with us or pack in boxes?
@_KimberlyHalle
6 жыл бұрын
+Nic BD it depends what’s inside. If it’s holiday decor, garage items, books i wouldn’t worry about it. If it’s items you don’t want them to see when either switch it over to a box or get packing paper and stuff the clear box so you can’t see the items then tapes the box shut.

We pack the kitchen last and unpack it first. (It goes into the truck at the very back and into the vehicle being used for the "immediate use" items) Label what's in the box's (with name, room # and general information of what's in the box's)
