I recently purchased a Yardman Mower around the same year model. Was wondering if you've ever had a problem with the blades not completely engaging. Cleaned the existing extension spring with no luck, replaced the extension spring and still no luck.

Hopefully, this will be last one I have to buy. That's my yard. I've been so busy with my new job, I haven't had time to mow.

Sometimes you'll run across a bad starter, even one that is supposed to be new. Thanks for watching.
