Very nice looking base and wheel, also very good video as always :) Small tip for Mr Barry, if you measure a mounting hole with your caliper and then zero it, you can measure the mounting holes from side to side and read the exact space between the holes and when you then close your caliper it will show you the diameter of the hole so you don't have to guess if its M5 or M6 thread :) Thx for your well made videos.

I need everyone's opinion on this : Is it better to buy this combo instead of the Fanatec CSL DD + McLaren GT3 wheel ? I know the formula would compare much more to the GS wheel but for the use I have the McLaren would be enough. The price difference totals to +200 euros for the Moza equipment. Please let me know !

Honestly its all preference, the Fanatec wheels arent the same quality level as the GS wheel is. That said there are budget wheels coming in a few weeks for the R9 meaning there will be more options probably in the same bracket as the Fanatec products your thinking about, if you can stretch for the GS wheel its an amazing piece of kit.

Hi ! Can this base play old games like Forza Motorsport 7 and Horizon 3 (three) with Telemetry and FFB ? I have checked the support page on MOZA website - all bases have full support only for: Assetto Corsa (and Competizione), iRacing, RaceRoom Racing, Carx drift racing online. Other games needs to be manually configured OR is not supported.

I am really torn between the Moza R9 + GS wheel and the Simagic Alpha Mini + GT4 wheel. For looks ie wheel i much prefer the Moza GS wheel in comparison with the Simagic GT4 Wheel the design is ok and it has less buttons/switches so looks and buttons are a con for me. Are there people who actually tested both the Moza and Simagic? How about the detail in FFB between the 2? I know the Simagic Alpha Mina can bump up to almost 13nm....Thing is i do like to watch my wheel its after all good money spent....But if the Simagic is by far the better choice (i mean far better in terms of detail in FFB etc) i will go for it.

I have a question for the experts. I would gladly replace the wheel base with a DD wheel base and the steering wheel too. When it comes to pedals, I currently have a Thrustmaster T-LCM model. These are pedals with a load cell based brake pedal. They're great for me right now. They can be connected as a standalone unit to a PC via a USB port, without the Thrustmaster base. Would this make it possible to use the MOZA R9 V2 DD base and the MOZA steering wheel with these pedals? Will such a combo work / be seen in games like Assetto Corsa, ACC, Automobilista 2, Project Cars 2, or the upcoming Forza Motorsport 8???
